Rootzone Wetting Agent 10L - Programmed Dry Patch Prevention, Balances Soil Air-to-Water Ratio & Stabilises Moisture
This 10L wetting agent gives outstanding control of the rootzone environment for the best possible playability. Working within the soil, it steadies moisture levels, balances the ratio of air to water and improves the plant's access to nutrients in the rootzone, so turf can be built from the bottom up.
By improving soil conditions, this wetting agent allows the grass to perform to its full genetic potential, giving stronger turf through the season that copes with all weather. In dry spells you stay in control of how much irrigation water is applied, and during prolonged rain it keeps soil moisture stable for an even surface with exceptional playability.

How to Use
Initial application
Apply this wetting agent at least one month before stress conditions are expected to begin in your area.
Ongoing monthly programme
This wetting agent needs to be used as part of a continuing management programme that starts before stress periods and carries on through them. If that approach does not suit your agronomic philosophy, preference or budget, this product may not be the right fit for your turf management programme.
Watering in
- This wetting agent is safe on turf and does not have to be watered in straight after application. Because it acts in both the thatch mat layer and the soil, however, it must be watered in enough to carry the wetting agent molecules down to a depth of at least four inches.
- On high sand rootzones, or other soils with a sand top-dressing layer of 10 cm or more, this takes roughly one cm of water. On non-sand soils or 'push-up' greens with a sand topdressing layer of less than four inches, apply up to one half inch of water.
- Water the product in thoroughly on the evening after application.
