Overview

A soluble spray tank and equipment cleaner that removes pesticide deposits and other debris, including oily substances, from tanks, booms, hoses, filters and nozzles. It is designed for general purpose cleaning of spray equipment.

An effervescing agent agitates the cleaner so that it reaches every part of the sprayer, and a bright red tracer dye shows the product as the boom and nozzles are flushed out.

Key Features

  • Tank and equipment cleaner
  • Contains an effervescing agent
  • Red tracer dye

How to Use

Application rate: 1kg per 800 litres of washout solution.

Cleaning procedure – full spray tank

  1. As soon as spraying is finished, drain the main tank completely. Wash off any contamination on the outside of the spraying equipment with clean water.
  2. Rinse the inside of the tank with clean water and flush through the boom and hoses using at least one-tenth of the spray tank volume. Drain the tank completely.
  3. Half fill the tank with clean water and add the cleaner at the recommended rate. Agitate, then flush the boom and hoses with the cleaning solution. Top up with water until the tank is completely full and allow to stand for 15 minutes with agitation. Flush the boom and hoses again and drain the tank completely.
  4. Remove the nozzles and filters and clean them separately in a solution of 50 grams of cleaner per 10 litres of water.
  5. Rinse the tank with clean water and flush through the boom and hoses using at least one-tenth of the spray tank volume. Drain the tank completely.
  6. Dispose of washings following the Code of Practice for the Safe Use of Pesticides. Note: if the tank cannot be drained completely, repeat step 3 before going on to step 4.
