Nutrients and Their Roles

• Ammonium nitrogen – drives cell division for leaf, shoot and root growth, and supports the production of chlorophyll, vitamins and amino acids.
• Sulphur – needed to actively metabolise nitrogen and to form amino acids, enzymes and chlorophyll.
• Magnesium oxide – supports chlorophyll and amino acid production for optimised photosynthesis, and improves the uptake and use of iron.
• Iron – used in chlorophyll synthesis and for correct mitochondrial function in the electron transport chain, activating a wide range of biological functions such as enzyme activation and respiration.

How to Use

*Warning: applying at the higher rates may have a detrimental effect on moss populations.

• Spread evenly with a suitably calibrated fertiliser spreader, avoiding overlaps and missed areas.
• For the best results, apply when rain is expected.
• Avoid applying in hot or frosty conditions or in dry weather.
• Over-application, or applying when the soil is too dry, may scorch the turf.
• Leave mower boxes off for 2 - 3 days so the granules can settle into the turf.
• Do not apply to wood, stone or any hard standing, as it may cause staining.
