This professional systemic turf fungicide is based on propiconazole and supplied in a 3 L pack. It was the first turf fungicide to become rainfast in only 15 minutes, so the systemic active has already moved safely into the leaf should rain arrive soon after spraying.

How It Works

Propiconazole is taken up quickly by the assimilating parts of the plant, mostly within one hour of treatment, and is carried acropetally (upwards) in the xylem. This systemic translocation helps spread the active ingredient well through the plant tissue.

Propiconazole belongs to the DMI fungicide group (demethylation inhibitors). It acts on the fungal pathogen inside the plant at the point of first haustoria formation, halting disease development by disrupting sterol biosynthesis in the fungal cell membranes. It has protective, curative and eradicant activity.

How to Use

Best results come from applying the fungicide while disease is still at an early stage of development. Start applications when conditions favour disease infection and at the very first signs of symptoms. Always read the full product label for complete directions, including crop-specific information.

• For use only as a horticultural fungicide.
• Can be applied with tractor mounted boom sprayers and handheld knapsack sprayers.
• Calibrate application equipment before use.
• Apply 3 litres per hectare, with no more than two sprays and at least 14 days between sprays.
• Apply at the full recommended rates.
• To reduce the risk of resistance developing, use it within a programme alongside products from different chemical groups.
• As it contains the SBI fungicide propiconazole, make applications in line with the FRAG-UK guidelines.
• Follow management practices that promote healthy turf and lower turf stress.
