3L Turf Disease Control Liquid
This professional turf fungicide is supplied in a 3L pack. This suspension concentrate contains 80.3 g/l fludioxonil and 80.3 g/l difenoconazole, combining curative and contact activity with systemic properties to protect turf reliably both on the outside of the plant and within it.
Key Features
- Contact and systemic action with curative and protectant disease activity
- Contact activity targets spores in the thatch and at the soil surface as well as on the leaf, quickly lowering disease pressure in high-risk periods
- Taken up by the leaves, the crown and the roots, so any active that reaches the rootzone is absorbed rather than wasted
- Locks onto the leaf wax within 30 minutes of application, so it is not washed off by rain or irrigation
- Delivers its performance from just 480g/ha of active ingredient per hectare, compared with 5000g/ha of active loading with iprodione
- Passed all environmental assessment tests during the approval process
What It Targets
- Disease spores, before they are able to germinate
- Disease hyphae on the leaf surface, stopping infection entering the leaf
- Disease mycelia inside the leaf, halting disease development
How to Use
This fungicide fits well into a proactive fungicide programme. It can be used at any time of year, although research and user trials show its properties are typically best matched to disease control from mid to late autumn and through early spring.
For the best protection of turf quality, apply before visible symptoms appear, up to the first signs of infection. Correct timing prevents infection getting into the leaf, but the fungicide can still act curatively on mycelium within the leaf, stopping disease before visible damage occurs and reducing stress on the plant.
With a new fungicide active for turf, it has a key role in fungicide programmes and in an Integrated Turf Management approach aimed at sustainable, long-term improvements in turf quality.
