50m² Ant Nematodes for Pest Control

This 50m² pack of ant nematodes drives ants away from treated areas. Ants cannot tolerate the nematodes close to their nests, so they relocate; the ants are not killed, they simply leave the treated ground.

How to Use

The nematodes cure an existing problem rather than prevent one, so do not buy or apply them until ants are present and the soil temperature is 10°C or above. This is normally between mid April and September (application window April to September).

1. Mix the contents of the pack into 5 litres of water.
2. Stir well to make a stock solution.
3. Add 500 millilitres of the stock solution plus a further 4.5 litres of water to a watering can.
4. Pour the watering can over 5 nests or 5 m².
5. Repeat for each further 5 nests or 5 m² until the stock solution has all been used.

• Apply directly onto the nests once you see signs of ant activity.
• Apply to moist turf or soil. In hot weather, wait until later in the day when the ground will not dry out as quickly.
• Water well after application and keep the area well watered for at least two weeks.
• For persistent infestations where ants keep returning, re-apply at 4 week intervals.
