5L Hard Surface Cleaner Antibacterial Disinfectant

This is a water-based concentrate surface biocide for clearing algae, mould and other single-celled organisms from exterior hard surfaces. Its active substance breaks down the cell membrane, stopping photosynthesis and other physiological processes, with visible results in 12-24 hours. Once dry, it adsorbs onto the surface to form a molecular film that keeps working as a preventative for a number of months.

How to Use

When to Use

• Apply at any time of year when algae is present on porous or non-porous hard surfaces.
• Apply to dry surfaces and allow 5-6 hours before any rainfall so the product can adsorb properly.

Method

• Brush away any heavy build-up of surface debris, such as leaves, that could stop the product reaching the surface evenly and effectively.
• Only apply to dry surfaces.
• Apply with a low pressure hand held or knapsack sprayer.
• Pour half of the required water into the spray tank.
• Measure the required amount of the product and add it to the tank.
• Top up with the rest of the water.
• Soak the surface thoroughly and leave it to dry.
• Avoid contact with non-target organisms or plants.

• Note: preventative action is much reduced on loose or friable surfaces such as gravel

• If contact surfaces such as benches or tables are accidentally sprayed, wipe them down or rinse them before use.
• Approved under the Control Of Pesticides Regulations (COPR) 1986, which cover products containing active substances not yet regulated under the EU Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR). Use only as directed and use this product safely.
• Keep contact with plant life to a minimum. Small amounts of run-off or over-spray onto grass, soil or hardy plants will not normally cause damage; where heavier run-off or over-spray occurs, simply flood the area with fresh water.
• Keep pets and unprotected people off treated surfaces until the product is completely dry (typically 5-6 hours, depending on the weather).
