5L Total Herbicide & 500g Residual Herbicide Pack

This professional pack pairs a 5L total glyphosate herbicide with a 500g residual herbicide, and is the recommended alternative to a herbicide containing diflufenican and glyphosate. Together they give systemic control of weeds that are already present plus a barrier that stops new weeds germinating.

Where to use

• Hard surfaces – railway ballast only
• Natural surfaces – any natural surface not intended to bear vegetation, including soil or natural outcroppings of rock
• Permeable surfaces overlying soil – any man-made permeable surface, such as gravel, that lies over soil and is not intended to bear vegetation

When to use

The residual herbicide can be applied at any time of year, but works best when applied pre-emergence or early post-emergence of weeds (up to the 2 leaf stage). The glyphosate herbicide works best when weeds are actively growing.

Application rates

*Rate for annual and perennial grass and broadleaved weeds – the lower rates control annual weeds only.

Mixing

1. Fill the spray tank with half of the water needed
2. Add the required quantity of the residual herbicide and agitate until the granules are fully dispersed
3. Keep agitating while adding the required quantity of the glyphosate herbicide
4. Make sure both products are fully dispersed through the spray solution, then top up the tank with water to the required level

Knapsack example: 15g of the residual herbicide and 12-18ml of the glyphosate herbicide in 9L of water will cover 300m².
