How It Works

Concentrated herbicide injection

The applicator is designed to inject herbicide – usually an undiluted glyphosate-based product – into the stems of hollow-stemmed weeds like Japanese Knotweed (Fallopia Japonica). Inject between the second and third nodes, using a single 2ml shot of undiluted herbicide.

Treats only the injected weeds

Because the herbicide goes straight into the stem, it offers a safe, effective way to treat weeds next to sensitive areas (for example near watercourses), or where neighbouring plants must be protected and spraying is not appropriate.

Quick, simple refilling

The 1 litre backpack keeps the applicator topped up through a length of hose. An in-line tap shuts off the liquid supply so the backpack can be isolated from, or disconnected from, the applicator.
