Robust Spray Line Marker - Professional Specifications

Overview

This is a battery-powered spray line marker, created with input from a professional groundsman, that lays down a smooth, consistent and even line whether you are marking one pitch or several. A single charge of its long-life battery runs the pump for a full day of marking.

Key Features

  • Efficient, economical pump: paired with the variable pressure valve, it lets the operator control how much paint reaches the twin spray heads, giving either a dense professional line or a lighter, more economical one.
  • Integral mixing system: the 30 litre tank holds mixed marking paint and comes with an integral mixing system as standard. Paint can be mixed beforehand and poured in, or mixed directly in the tank with the mixing system switched on.
  • Pressure valve lever: located under the hood, the lever opens and closes the mixing system. When the system is active, paint bypasses the spray heads and returns to the tank. The same lever can regulate pump pressure to reduce the volume of paint sent to the spray heads, down to a minimum of approximately 600ml per minute.
  • Twin spray heads: run one head for normal marking, or both for a double-spray line in a single pass. Each head delivers approximately 790ml of mixed marking paint per minute.
  • Floating spray boom: the boom moves vertically so it can float, keeping the spray gliders on the ground as they follow natural undulations, for even, dense lines with a crisp, clean edge.
  • Lockable boom position: for vehicle transport, or when moving around the sports ground without marking, the floating boom can be secured in a raised position to protect the spray gliders and spray heads.
  • Easy access: components are designed to be reached easily, and the battery lifts out so it can be charged separately from the machine.
  • Variable line width: 50mm, 75mm or 100mm (2, 3 and 4 inch).

How to Use

  • Mix the marking paint and pour it into the tank, or mix it in the tank using the integral mixing system (activated with the pressure valve lever under the hood).
  • Select one or both spray heads and set the pressure valve for the line density required.
  • Clean the machine thoroughly after every marking session; this only takes a couple of minutes. Remove the drain plug underneath the tank and flush it out with clean water. Refit the drain plug, add a little clean water to the tank and pump it through the spray heads until the spray runs clear.

Applications

  • Single or multi-pitch sports line marking on grass
  • Hard surfaces, for example marking out car parking spaces
