Aeration & Drainage Fork – Interchangeable 127mm Hollow Coring & Solid Tines (Sold Separately)

A simple but effective tool for year-round use.

This fork is an aid to aeration and drainage on surfaces including football pitches, rugby pitches, cricket pitches and golf greens, fairways and tees. It relieves compaction after play or rolling, and when fitted with hollow tines it lifts out plugs of thatch so soil exchange can take place and fertiliser or dressings can get into the surface more easily.

The fork is sold without tines, which must be purchased separately. Two types of interchangeable tine are available.

Interchangeable Tines

• 127mm Long Hollow Coring Tines (Ref. D1535) – 127mm (5in) x 15mm (5/8in) dia. For use in Autumn to relieve compaction after play or rolling and to remove plugs of thatch for soil exchange and better entry of fertiliser or dressing. Set of 3.
• 127mm Long Solid Tines (Ref. D1534) – 127mm (5in) long. For use in Spring and Summer to relieve hard pan and aid the percolation of moisture in dry conditions. Set of 5.
