Wireless Weather Station with Solar Sensor - Local Data Recording

This wireless standard weather station with solar sensor is supplied with a live data hub, giving local data recording over your site's wireless or ethernet connection. It measures wind, rainfall, temperature, humidity and solar radiation, and calculates evapotranspiration for turf management decisions.

How to Use

Package Overview (Local Wireless or Ethernet)

• Place the live data hub inside a building or office and connect it to the local wireless or ethernet network.
• The weather station must sit within wireless range of the hub: up to 300mtr line of sight. Buildings, walls, trees and similar obstructions will reduce this range.
• Siting is important: avoid mounting the weather station (or any connected sensors) on a building or roofline. An open, flat position is best, so that readings reflect the conditions of the areas you want to monitor.

Applications

Data the weather station can generate, and what it is used for:

• E.T (Evapotranspiration) and rainfall data - soil moisture status and plant stress (irrigation requirement - soil moisture deficit / surplus)
• Minimum and maximum air temperature - grass and insect growth model (daily growth degree days - daily growth potential)
• Leaf moisture status (if sensor fitted) - dew intensity for spraying, dew removal and disease pressure
• Relative humidity and dewpoint - disease activity data (Dollar Spot Model - real-time disease pressure indicator)
• Rainfall data - mm per hour and time of maximum rainfall - flooding events, bunker wash-outs on golf courses, etc.
• Wind data, maximum gust and time of maximum gust - spray windows, tree fall incidents, health and safety
