This formal grass seed is a non-ryegrass mixture with a high share of chewings fescue, giving a very fine sward suited to high-quality ornamental lawns. Slender creeping red fescue and browntop bent add wear resistance and help to strengthen the sward, and the mix copes well with a reduced mowing regime.

From bare soil to a fine lawn
Prepare the surface before sowing: remove stones and weeds, make sure drainage is adequate, and check the surface is level, firm and moist
Sow evenly at the correct rate to a depth of around 10 mm
Keep the surface moist for at least 2 - 3 weeks
Make the first cut once the grass reaches 5 - 6 cm and has begun tillering
