Overview

This is a 20kg traditional 80:20 fescue and bent grass seed mixture for overseeding, renovating and constructing top quality swards. Its cultivars need little in the way of nutrients and irrigation yet still give a fine, dense sward for a superior playing surface.

How to use

From bare soil to a playing surface

Sowing Guidance

Prepare the surface before sowing so that:
- stones and weeds have been removed
- drainage is adequate
- the surface is firm and level
- the surface is moist
Spread the seed evenly at the correct sowing rate, to a depth of about 10 mm.
Keep the surface moist for at least 2 - 3 weeks.
Take the first cut once the grass reaches 5 - 6 cm and tillering has begun.

Overseeding Guidance

Prepare the existing turf by clearing excess thatch and reducing irrigation and fertilisation.
Apply at the correct overseeding rate.
For the best results, use a disc seeder or a studded seed roller.
