This is a traditional 80:20 fescue and bent mixture that delivers good results at a sensible price. Its cultivars need little in the way of nutrients and irrigation, yet still form a fine, dense sward for a superior playing surface, and the mix tolerates close mowing and wear.

How to use

From bare soil to a playing surface

Sowing New Areas

Get the surface ready before sowing, making sure that:
- Stones and weeds have been cleared away.
- Drainage is adequate.
- The surface is level and firm.
- The surface is moist.
Spread the seed evenly at the recommended sowing rate, to a depth of roughly 10 mm.
Keep the surface moist for a minimum of 2 - 3 weeks.
Take the first cut once the grass has reached 5 - 6 cm in height and tillering has begun.

Overseeding Existing Turf

Prepare the turf by clearing out excess thatch and cutting back on irrigation and fertiliser.
Apply at the recommended overseeding rate.
For the best results, use a disc seeder or a studded seed roller.
