From bare soil to a playing surface
Sowing Guidance
- Prepare the surface before sowing so that:
- stones and weeds have been removed
- drainage is adequate
- the surface is firm and level
- the surface is moist
- Spread the seed evenly at the correct sowing rate, to a depth of about 10 mm.
- Keep the surface moist for at least 2 - 3 weeks.
- Take the first cut once the grass reaches 5 - 6 cm and tillering has begun.
Overseeding Guidance
- Prepare the existing turf by clearing excess thatch and reducing irrigation and fertilisation.
- Apply at the correct overseeding rate.
- For the best results, use a disc seeder or a studded seed roller.
