Sowing

• Get the surface ready before sowing, making sure that:
  • stones and weeds have been cleared;
  • drainage is adequate;
  • the surface is firm and level;
  • the surface is moist.
• Spread the seed evenly at the correct sowing rate, to a depth of roughly 10 mm.
• Keep the surface moist for a minimum of 2 - 3 weeks.
• Take the first cut once the grass reaches 5 - 6 cm in height and has begun tillering.

Overseeding

• Prepare the existing turf by taking out excess thatch and reducing irrigation and fertiliser.
• Apply at the correct overseeding rate.
• For the best results, use a disc seeder or a studded seed roller.
