20kg Naturally Low-Growing Grass Seed Mix
SKU TCP1381
Overview
This is a naturally low-growing, attractive mixture thanks to its careful choice of species. The resulting sward copes very well with dry, infertile conditions, so less water and fertiliser are needed. Its rhizomatous species help hold poor soils and embankments together, and crested dogstail gives quick germination and green-up.

Sowing New Areas
- Get the surface ready before sowing, making sure that:
- Stones and weeds have been cleared away.
- Drainage is adequate.
- The surface is level and firm.
- The surface is moist.
- Spread the seed evenly at the recommended sowing rate, to a depth of roughly 10 mm.
- Keep the surface moist for a minimum of 2 - 3 weeks.
- Take the first cut once the grass has reached 5 - 6 cm in height and tillering has begun.
Overseeding Existing Turf
- Prepare the turf by clearing out excess thatch and cutting back on irrigation and fertiliser.
- Apply at the recommended overseeding rate.
- For the best results, use a disc seeder or a studded seed roller.
