Premier Fairway Grass Seed 20kg – 100% Fescue Mix for Sustainable Overseeding & Poa annua Reduction
This is a 100% fescue seed mix developed for sustainable overseeding. Its excellent shoot density helps to limit the emergence of Poa annua, while the fescues bring excellent drought tolerance and disease resistance along with low fertiliser and mowing needs. From bare soil to a playing surface
Sowing
- Get the surface ready before sowing: clear away stones and weeds, check that drainage is adequate, and leave the ground level, firm and moist.
- Spread the seed evenly at the recommended sowing rate, to a depth of roughly 10 mm.
- Keep the surface moist for a minimum of 2 - 3 weeks.
- Take the first cut once the grass has reached 5 - 6 cm in height and tillering has begun.
Overseeding
- Prepare the existing sward by clearing excess thatch and cutting back on irrigation and fertiliser beforehand.
- Apply at the recommended overseeding rate.
- For the best results, sow with a disc seeder or a studded seed roller.
