Spring Start Fertiliser 16-0-16 +Fe +Mn 20kg – Slow Release, Phosphate-Free Micro Granular Turf Feed

Overview

A 20kg 16-0-16 +Fe +Mn high performance micro granular fertiliser designed for use on fine turf throughout the year. Every individual granule contains both conventional and slow release technology, giving a consistent and sustained release pattern.

Nitrogen is the key nutrient for driving plant growth, while potassium makes the turf even more resilient to external stresses. A sufficient quantity of nitrogen and potassium is released immediately after application, so the plant can make use of it straight away.

Key Features

  • Longevity: 6 - 8 weeks
  • Turf response: 7 days
  • Granule dispersal: 2 - 3 days
  • Active at lower temperatures, with a low MU content for a quick reaction in cooler conditions
  • Slow release nitrogen and potassium for sustained performance
  • Even spread at ultra-low application rates (20g/m²), with granules that break down and disperse rapidly
  • Healthy, balanced growth encouraged at the start of the season
  • Phosphate free formulation that helps manage soil phosphorus build-up

Application Information

Its quick reaction in cooler conditions makes it ideal for spring application.

How to Apply

  • Apply to dry foliage and, if no rain has fallen, irrigate after 1 - 2 days. Irrigation aids dispersion and minimises any risk of mower pick-up on close mown surfaces.
  • Try to avoid applying during frosty or drought conditions.
  • Delay verti-cutting and/or grooming for 3 days after application so the granules can disperse.
  • Nitrogen release slows significantly when soil temperatures are below 10°C.
  • Watering in after application minimises the risk of foot printing.
